[KOREA-JAPAN 6] Living donor liver transplantation using donors older than 50 years of age: Recipient criteria and donor risk

This study was performed as Korea-Japan Collaborative Study. The aim of this study is to evaluate the safety limit of recipient, such as MELD and/or ICU bound, to use graft taken from living donor older than 50 years old, and to reveal the frequency and severity of complication after donor hepatectomy. Primary endpoint is the 6-month graft survival rates after living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) using donors older than 50 years of age. Japanese 9 centers joined this research. Total 140 cases were enrolled.
