Hemostasis in Hepatectomy Jai Young Cho, MD, PhD, FACS Department of Surgery, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Seoul National University College of Medicine After accumulation of experiences of hepatectomy, introduction of new instruments, and development of fancy hemostatic agents, bleeding during and after hepatectomy has decreased. However, intraoperative and postoperative bleeding complications are still uncommon and significant negative outcomes. Today, I will show some articles about hemostasis and introduce new instruments for controlling bleeding during and after hepatectomy. References 1.
